A Christmas Get together dinner was held on the 24th December 2008. It was merely a get together dinner. No WIP, No special guests and no planned performances. All kids received their gifts on that night.

This year, in November, St Helen organised a mission trip from Serian to Kota Kinabalu. The mian objective was to witness the goodness of Christ to Christian followers from Serian to KK.

A dinner was held in conjunction with St Helen Day. The church invited Bishop Bolly Lapok to officiate the dinner and to give inspiring message to those attending the dinner. The three hours event was filled with joy and love because many presentations were presented to entertain guests and old friends met at the dinner.

We do not only remember the mothers, but also the fathers. We believe that all fathers of St Helen have done their best to raise their children to be God loving people. They do not only teach them to be successful in life but also to be strong followers of God. All their advice, lessons and disciplines have shaped their children to be God loving people and now many of them are actively serving God in Church. We praise God for all these fathers. May God bless them daily. Amen.

Child dedication service is dedicated to children who have not been baptized. The dedication is based on the bible Luke 2 where Jesus was sent to the temple to be dedicated to God when he was still a few days old. Such event will make parents to seriously educate their children to be strong children of God in future.

Congratulations to our new couple (Mr. Vernon and Mrs. Vernon) on their wedding which was held in Serian in December 2007.  

Congratulations to our newly wed couple, Bro. Julian and Sis. Isabella on their wedding which was held on 1st December 2007 in Serian. We believe that there will be more Christian families be brought into the Kingdom of God. Special thanks to the members of St Helen who had helped in this special ocassion and also the family members from both side for their support.
